How to get to Tofino:
Going North on Highway 1 coming from Victoria, follow the signs towards
Nanaimo and Parksville. The Trans Canada Highway follows Highway 19
just outside of Nanaimo. Just before Parksville you turn onto Highway
4, and follow the signs toward Port Alberni.
Follow the road through Port Alberni, to the bottom of the hill.
Turn right and still follow Highway 4. Check your gas now, the last
gas station is just outside of Port Alberni on the road to Tofino.
You're on your way to Clayoquot Sound and the Village of Tofino. At
the end of the scenic and winding highway from Port Alberni you'll
reach the "junction" - the road to Tofino leads to the right
through Pacific Rim National Park.
